GoPro Hero3+

Juicies+ Premium Charging Cables

juicies+gold-iphone5s

It seems that we’ve been posting a lot of cables lately.  Charging your device is almost as essential as breathing, and a simple cable is the best solution to charging your device.  Juices+ Cables, like the Eastern Collective Cables use a woven cable for a durable, tangle free design.  The cables come in Gold, Silver, and Black. Where they differ in their design, the Juices+ use anodized aluminum connectors instead of plastic.  For some phone users (iPhone 5, 5S, HTC One, Nokia models) this is very attractive, as it matches the material their phone is constructed with. These cables are licensed by Apple for use, so you will never have any compatibility issues. This project has already surpassed its Kickstarter goal by over 400%, but you can still get in the game and grab yourself one of these cables for just $18. Get one today!

Nexus 7 – 2013, the Second Coming

Ladies and Gentlemen, the people at Google and ASUS have done it again!  The two technology companies have worked together to create a beautiful synergy sharing research and development opportunities and mountains of meta data trying to come up with not only a developer friendly tablet for the android ecosystem, but one that was also universally easy to navigate and true competitor in the tablet market.  Last year’s Nexus 7 concept blew me away.  of course I pre-ordered it, waited anxiously, and cherished the day it arrived.  The sleek back, the perfect palm size, the sharp screen – oh boy, oh boy!

Welcome to the Team, Kid.

Have you ever had one of those friends that overly impulsively buys as many electronics and cool gadgets as they can, even if it burns holes in their pockets and makes their credit card companies super angry?  Well, if you haven’t had that friend, allow me to introduce myself, and let’s be friends going forward.

I’m Pat – a twenty something semi-educated male working in a technology and communications related job, and as previously stated:  I have a problem.  I love electronics and gadgets.   The second I hear of something making its way through the FCC my blood starts boiling and I immediately need all of these things that I probably already have or the older versions that still work equally as well.  I find myself indulging in what I believe is either the “latest” or the “greatest” smart phone probably about every six months.  I can claim that it’s for my job, but I assure you, I have an addiction.

How does this make me an effective member of the GearPlug team?  Understandably, I’m constantly demoing phones for my job, and to be honest, some of my co-workers have come to expect that I go to other stores and demo some of our devices right up against other carriers and challenge their sales employees on the floor, and it’s honestly because I am constantly seeking what is the best phone or best device out there.   Between my query for the truth in the best device and my need to constantly fill the loneliness in my life with electronics, trust me; you’re going to get a great perspective on some cool gear.   I promise.

Welcome Pat, we look forward to your irreverent posts! – GearPlug team
