Clockee Talkee is unlike anything we’ve seen. It does have the familiar elements we love: simple design, compact, modern, wood-grain; but its function is refreshingly new and novel. At first glance it is simply an alarm clock, but once you dive in to its features, you’ll find it is more than just a box with a snooze button. The Clockee Talkie is also an intercom communication system for your home or office. You can talk to any room in your house between up to 8 Clockee Talkies at once. This is great for calling the family down to dinner or quickly speaking to a coworker. The clock also displays temperature and time when you clap your hands. The clock will be available in six different colors, with different choices for LED colors as well. Clocky Talkee is currently a project on crowdfunding site indiegogo. If you want one show your support and you can get your hands on a pair of Clockee Talkees for as little as $59, and shipping in March 2014. Support/Buy ($59+) Continue reading Clockee Talkee

It can be folded with the wheels connected or detached for an even smaller footprint. FUBi is also configurable with three different wheel sizes; the narrow road rim, the city/gravel rim, and the mountain rim. This allows the bike to function in a number of environments. It can even calculate the cost of electricity at peak and off peak times in some areas. The Nest Protect is the newest product in Nest’s line of smart home devices. The Protect is a smoke and carbon monoxide detector that takes the annoying factor out of the smoke detector equation. The voice of the Protect tells you what the emergency is and where it has been detected. If you happen to own a Nest thermostat, the CO detector on the Protect will automatically turn off your gas furnace if it detects carbon monoxide. (Pre-order $129) Continue reading Nest Protect

It seems that we’ve been posting a lot of cables lately. Charging your device is almost as essential as breathing, and a simple cable is the best solution to charging your device. Juices+ Cables, like the Eastern Collective Cables use a woven cable for a durable, tangle free design. The cables come in Gold, Silver, and Black. Where they differ in their design, the Juices+ use anodized aluminum connectors instead of plastic. For some phone users (iPhone 5, 5S, HTC One, Nokia models) this is very attractive, as it matches the material their phone is constructed with. These cables are licensed by Apple for use, so you will never have any compatibility issues. This project has already surpassed its Kickstarter goal by over 400%, but you can still get in the game and grab yourself one of these cables for just $18. Get one today!
