We’ve always been fans of GoPro’s line of action cameras, in fact we’ve written a few other posts on their cameras and accessories that utilize them, here, here, and here. This week they introduced the latest iteration of their camera line, the Hero3+ Black Edition. The is smaller, lighter, and faster than the already amazing Hero3 Black. You still get the same awesome features; 12MP photos, burst mode, up to 4K resolution. The 3+ also gives you 30% longer battery life, 4X faster WiFi connectivity, 20% smaller and lighter than previous models, a sharper lens, and vastly improved low light performance. All this in a camera that’s about the size of a box of matches. SuperView™ ‘captures the world’s most immersive wide angle perspective’. This is THE action sports camera. The basic principle of the tiny camera is a rough tough go anywhere, plastic encased unit that outperforms most in it’s segment.
