iPad Air

Today Apple announced the newest version of the iPad, the iPad Air.  With more than 170 million sold, the iPad has been the best performing tablet on the market, period.  The new iPad Air is thinner, lighter and more powerful.  It comes with a 9.7 inch Retina Display and is 20% thinner than the last generation, with a 43% thinner bezel. It weighs in at only one pound, two-thirds the weight of the current iPad.  The Air borrows the A7 and M7 processors from the iPhone 5S. The new iPad will get up to 10 hours of battery life and gets an updated 1080P video camera as well. Starts at $499 and ships November 1st. Apple also announced a Retina display iPad mini, starting at $399, available in late November.

iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C

Today Apple announced the new updated iPhone 5S and the brand new iPhone 5C, which will be the first new device to come with Apple’s completely redesigned operating system, iOS7. Brace yourselves, this post will be a bit more technically meaty than reviews of the past. The big upgrade is in iOS7, which has been completely gone over and re imagined from it’s predecessor, iOS6.
